Don Quixote Goes to Washington: A tale of a new world order

DonQuixote

Don Quixote Goes to Washington - A tale of a new world order, is Ricardo Petrillo's seventh book. Ricardo passed away after an accidental fall at College at age 20. He communicates with his father through channeled written messages. All his books contain spiritual messages of an afterlife, reincarnation and communication with spirits of the deceased as professed by the Spiritist Doctrine founded by Allan Kardec in the nineteenth-century and many other eastern religion's philosophies.

Don Quixote, is written in poetry, Ricardo's preferred style. This is the story of Joseph who grew up in New Mexico, free, in contact with nature and influenced by a shaman who passes to him some of his knowledge regarding humanity, spirituality and the spirit world. He befriends Sancho, a Latino boy who becomes his life companion through their unusual journey. Joseph goes on to become a doctor and Sancho a nurse. Joseph's holistic approach to medicine conquers the hearts of the people he cares for. Ultimately they go to Washington to represent the people after an unexpected electoral victory.

While in Washington Joseph's unusual philosophy and the people's response to his ideas carry his name throughout the world. This brings uneasiness among many politicians and creates enemies for him. He fulfills his mission but at a high cost.

Ultimately, Joseph's experiences teach us that we are immortal spirits and that our goal while on earth is to live a life based on the principles of respect and love for our fellow human beings in whatever capacity we may find ourselves and that we should follow our intuitions in order to receive the positive influences from the spiritual realm.
